Electronic Poker is a beloved game that can be bet on in casinos throughout the world, or in your house on your PC, using a web connection. The game rules are absolutely straightforward and consist of the player attempting to get the highest mixture of cards as you can in order to come away with money. In this respect it’s very similar as a regular game of poker, minus the interaction with other players. Of course, tactics used in a real-life game of poker, like tricking, will be useless in Video Poker.

The game of Video Poker begins when the player inserts credits (whether it’s tokens, tickets or cash) into the video poker machine and presses the play button. A hand of 5 cards will then be electronically ‘given out’ on the screen.

The Electronic Poker game also has buttons with ‘hold’ printed on them, and enthusiasts will need to now pick which cards to keep and which to discard. For the cards the enthusiast would like to retain, the ‘hold’ buttons should be pressed so that they light up. The player can choose to keep any amount of cards they wish, whether it is all or none.

After the gambler has decided on which cards she wishes to retain, the player will then press ‘deal’, which will mean that any fresh cards will be needed they will be handed out. The game is now completed, with the Electronic Poker machine scanning the hand to see if it matches any of the winning hands listed in the payment schedule.

Typically, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money getting larger for each and every better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It goes without saying that the payout schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that experienced enthusiasts are able to select the most profitable machine every instance.

After the first round has finished, the player can either choose to continue on and try to to increase their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that might been won. Additionally, several styles of the game give the enthusiast an opportunity to increase their wins, in which case a further round is played. There are also variations among individual machines, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other differing characteristics to increase playability.
