The hand is now completed, with the Electronic Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands listed in the pay out schedule.
Typically, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money getting larger for each better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It goes without saying that the payout schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable bettors are agile enough to choose the most profitable game every instance.
After the initial round has finished, the player can either decide to remain on in an attempt to increase their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any money that might have been won. Additionally, some styles of the game give the player an opportunity to increase their profits, in which instance another game is played. There are also variations between individual machines, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other differing elements to increase playability.
